In addition to these logistical hurdles, the project also faced the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, inflation, and economic downturn, leading to a lot of cost overruns for the imported materials.
We have dedicated over N1.5 billion to logistics alone in this project, thereby urging Nigerian manufacturing associations to step up their game and produce top-notch building materials within the country.
