Some years build you. Others forge you.
EFCC — Dr. Sijibomi Ogundele says thank you.
2025 was not a year of comfort. It was a year of character.
It tested conviction, exposed intentions, challenged resolve, and demanded clarity of purpose. And for that, I am profoundly grateful.
Pressure has a way of revealing truths that ease never can. This season unearthed a level of grit within me that only adversity can expose—the kind of grit that is not announced, but earned. I was compelled to pause, to reflect, and to confront both my strengths and my blind spots. I was forced to think beyond comfort, beyond fear, beyond emotion, beyond reputation—and far beyond the limits of my imagination.
What began as doubt was converted into determination.
What felt like hesitation evolved into elevation.
What appeared, from the outside, to be a potential disaster quietly became a blueprint for triumph.
This journey reaffirmed a lesson every true leader must learn: leadership is not proven in applause, but in adversity. It is easy to build when the road is smooth; it is far more revealing to build when every step is questioned, scrutinized, and misunderstood. Yet through it all, one truth remained constant—God was undeniably present.
He used small problems to test resilience and greater moments to refine faith. He stripped away distractions and allowed clarity to emerge. He granted me the rare privilege of seeing beyond appearances—beyond masks and pretenses—to understand the true substance of loyalty when pressure arrives uninvited.
At Sujimoto, we have always believed that luxury is not merely about aesthetics. It is about endurance, excellence, and legacy. This year reaffirmed that philosophy. What once appeared to be obstacles became the very scaffolding for our next phase of growth. Every challenge strengthened our foundation. Every delay sharpened our vision. Every lesson repositioned us for greater impact.
We did not break.
We evolved.
I extend my deepest gratitude to our partners, our clients, our team, and every supporter who stood firm when silence would have been easier. Your confidence, encouragement, and belief were not taken for granted. You reminded us that true support is not seasonal—it is steadfast.
As we look ahead, we do so with humility, renewed strength, and a deeper understanding of responsibility. The future we are building is bigger, bolder, and more intentional. The lessons of 2025 have not slowed us—they have prepared us.
Sujimoto is not defined by moments of challenge, but by how we rise beyond them.
2026 is not just approaching.
We are stepping into it—stronger, wiser, and ready.
